Frequently asked questions

How long do we need to learn our first dance?

It really depends on the couple! We've had some couples learn their whole dance in a weekend, while others choose to spread their practice out over a couple of months. 😊

On average, I recommend allowing at least 4–5 practice sessions of around 30 minutes to learn the choreography and feel comfortable with it.

But the sooner you get started, the better! It gives you plenty of time to practice at your own pace without any pressure.

Can we learn our first dance from home if we are complete beginners with no dance experience?

Absolutely! Everything we create is made with complete beginners in mind. Even if you've never danced before and swear you have two left feet, you'll be absolutely fine! 🤍

You can rewatch the lessons as many times as you need and learn at your own pace, all from home.

Can we get feedback on our dance practice?

Absolutely! You're not alone once you start learning your dance. 🤍 You can send us videos of your practice along the way, and we'll give you feedback and tips to help you feel confident and ready for your special day.

How can I access my wedding dance lessons after purchase?

Once your choreography is made, your own personal account will be created where you can log in and access all of your First Dance lessons. You can rewatch them as many times as you like up until your wedding day and practice at your own pace. 🤍

Can I request certain dance moves to be included in my choreography?

Yes, absolutely! If you order a new choreographed dance, you can request certain moves you've seen on our social media that you'd love included. We have lots of different moves to choose from, and we'll incorporate your requests where they work beautifully with your song. 🤍

What if I don't like a certain move, can it be swapped out?

Yes, absolutely! If you order a new choreographed dance and there's a move you don't love, just let us know and we can send you an alternative step to swap it with.
